Technical Diving in FloridaTechnical diving is not for everyone. It involves an enormous investment in equipment and training and a commitment to dive frequently enough to remain proficient. Technical divers breathe special gasses like pure oxygen, nitrox, trimix, heliox, argon, and sometimes other even more exotic gasses. These gasses are very expensive compared to the gases breathed by recreational divers and are sometimes hard to get. Most dive shops do not have the specially trained personnel or equipment to blend these gasses. Technical diving requires exceptional skills and experience.
